I also grew up in an abusive household, still trying to get out as a disabled adult, but I’ve always wrote songs, and poetry and journaled since I was a teen. That’s why I looked up and found this channel. Trying to get into songwriting again as an adult still experiencing trauma and trying to heal the past. I feel like I’m a teenager again, just trying to endure. I also ran away from home, and was kicked out, and homeless as a teen and have had lots of abusive relationships my whole life so far. I suffer from schizophrenia and they offered me kar xt through a study today and trying to sed if i should take it been disabled since i was 18-19 it strikes in early adulthood late adosclenct age. Let me know how this drug works for yall please

I have gone through my psychosis was very ill for probably 10 years until I‘ve healed. The biggest realization which brought relief from the illness was the fact that my mind produced all my fears reality and hallucinations( I realized it during the psychotic break I recently had) I’m currently tapping off my meds and I don’t find any symptoms at all. I‘m healed now and I believe in myself and my own mind 1000 times more than before. I also smoke a lot less, started exercising and I’m very aware of my own thought- patterns. Wish you all luck 🍀

As a Muslim american man myself, i wholeheartedly agree with Yasmin on this. I used to be fall into the stigma of mental health in the Muslim community. Not until i had a brain tumor removed, i than started my own journey into mental health and i have to say, that it has made a world of difference. Not only am i feeling better about myself, i am also am doing alot better in social situations and including school and work and with my own family. So i got to say, that mental therapy really helps.

I don't know if i had schizophrenia,or maybe some symptoms but i want to tell about my experience, maybe someone will find it helpful. Long time ago i started hearing voices in my head. Sarcastic,evil voice who was insulting me constantly. I was shocked,but didn't know what to do.Ignoring it didn't help at all. I started to speak to it with love. I told to it, I love you,im sorry you see me in such a bad way but i still love you..words like that. This lasted for some days and voices disappeared. Its now more then 10 years i don't hear any voice.

They're are putting addiction patients in Australia on abilify. This drug is not recommended for people who are not well in the impulse area of the brain. I am in recovery but they are trying to kill us through the mental health system in Australia. They should be ashamed of themselves. My best friend died because of their own expectations for what these medications are to achieve. Please give me some advice about how to explain this to my prescribing Dr. I have to be forced to take medication by law. But what i need is not available he is saying. Homeless was part of being in the system but is no longer the case from ending drug use.

I'm sick of being exhausted, I'm diagnosed with major depression but don't take my meds.

It's like we're watching him talking about his feelings and his life tbh reminding me of therapy that I dont have- Its like im watching him going through a therapy meeting. This was sad watching this 10:26 "Did you think there was something wrong with you?" and he wasn't wanting to answer his question and changed the subject. Which clearly means yes because if you didnt think there was something wrong with you back then you wouldn't have changed the subject. I now have more feelings for CG5 than usual, %107 now.

How come this can be I cure if I say I took mushrooms and they gave me dark thoughts and now I have ocd because of that

Can you talk more about "the breathing issue"? I have suffered from sensorimotor OCD for years where I think about my breathing almost every conscious moment. It's very depressing. If psilocybin therapy would help with that, I would sign up for treatment in a heartbeat.

How about make a new mood disorder instead of remaking the broken wheels that is antipsychotics. It’s so upsetting. I have little faith this will be helpful. And as someone who’s bipolar and the next in the pipeline of the sale and approval of this drug - I am horribly offended that drugs are not made for the bipolar that is massively bigger than schizophrenia. Do better. The drugs you’re pushing are marginally better than first gen antipsychotics. Maybe youd have higher compliance with drugs if they weren’t so awful to be on. How many people have to take Vrylar to actually be helped.

I have schizophrenia but since last 5 years I have healed.i have been doing meditation since last 4 years I never skipped even 1 day and I do reading exercise for mind I journal and walk in nature .I take 8 hours of sleep and even do teaching job 😊 as well and living peaceful life .if we want we can do anything

If they had the connectome of the human brain probably would be possible theyll have to check every connection to make sure that the brain is wired in every connectiong correctly and maybe they can work off of that to make sure to wire where the wiring is awry
